Learning Environments supports the Echo360 Lecture Capture system. The system records audio and visual content from presentations in over 150 theatres and other supported venues across the University. This service is automatically accessible for centrally timetabled lectures and also available for public events and conferences.

The Lecture Capture Self Service Tool allows staff to view upcoming Lecture Capture schedules and directly create recordings for subjects, seminars and events. Access to University network required.

Institutional usage, copyright content and intellectual property, and the recorded lecture guidelines.
Staff are welcome to request a recording of teaching activities or wider University activities. Once processed, a recording will be generated and accessible from the requesting staff member's Lecture Capture Library.
Following Academic Board endorsement, as of 2016 the University follows an opt-out model for the Lecture Capture service.
